Holiday event

Dance Stomp Shake, Inc. will host a Southside Winter Wonderland from 1:30 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11 at the L, 1530 S. Yellow Springs St. There will be games, prizes, arts and crafts, pictures with Santa, Santa’s express (train ride) and more for children. This event is open to the public.

Founder and Executive Director Julius Bailey also wants to line trees up around the perimeter that have lights and decorations. Those trees will then be given to families who need a tree. The organization is looking for community members to donate a new or gently used artificial tree for the event.
