■ Seek and Find - Penguins: month of February - Can you find the images of a penguin hidden around the Lenski Children’s Center? See the staff person at the desk for a prize after you’ve found them all. Ages 3-18 (and still in school).

■ Adults Who Read YA

Book Club: 6:30 p.m. Monday - If you’re an adult who loves to read YA – this is the club for you! Meet with fellow readers and share your favorite young adult novels. To be held in Meeting Room No. 4.

■ Little Blossoms Storytime: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday - This storytime engages babies and toddlers with books and learning through stories, music, movement and a simple craft idea to help develop fine motor skills. For ages birth to 2.5 years. Held in the Gaier Room.

■ Little Sprouts Storytime: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday - Led by a profession­al staff librarian, this storytime prepares preschoole­rs for later reading success through interactiv­e stories, songs, rhymes, a craft idea and other fun activities to promote early literacy. For ages 3-5. Held in the Gaier Room.

■ HIIT to be Fit – 2 p.m. Tuesday - Join Marian

Plank (NASM, CPT, CNC) for a free full body workout combining elements of strength and cardio set to a fun, upbeat soundtrack. Bring yourself and a mat! For adults.

■ Coding Club: 6 – 7 p.m. Wednesday - Have you ever wanted to learn how to code? Join this club where we will work together to solve coding challenges. No previous experience is necessary. For ages 8-12 in the Lenski Program Room.

■ Open Mic Night: 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday - Have an original song or just love to play a tune? Sign up for a 15-minute spot to perform in the Rotunda space by calling 937-3286903. Open to everyone ages 13 and up. Acoustic instrument­s only please.

■ Practiced Writer’s

Atelier: 6 – 7:30 p.m. Thursday - In this monthly workshop for local and experience­d writers, find support by networking with fellow writers and receiving feedback on your work, whether published or unpublishe­d. For adults in Meeting Rooms 1 and 2.

■ Teen Anti-valentine’s

Day Party: 6 p.m. Thursday - Do you hate hearts and flowers? Seek refuge from the mushiness at the library! Join in for un-festive snacks, make your own rude conversati­on hearts and anti-romance book covers and play antivalent­ine’s games. Black clothing is encouraged, sarcasm required. For ages 13-18 in Lenski Program Room.

■ Why Always Jane? The Enduring Appeal of Jane Austen: 6 p.m. Thursday - Knowledge Shared

Series event with Robin Inboden in the Gaier Room. Presented by the Margaret Ermarth Institute for the Public Humanities and co-sponsored by the library, Wittenberg University and SAILL.

■ Rose City Roleplayer­s: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday - You will be shown the ins and outs of tabletop roleplayin­g games in this meetup in Meeting Rooms 1 and 2. For adults 18 and over (out of high school).

■ Video Game Club: 2 p.m. Saturday - Do you love video games? Join the club and make friends while playing some favorites or trying out something new. Game options will be for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Wii. Ages 6-18 in the Lenski Program Room.

■ Piece By Piece - Adults: library hours – rotating puzzle. Come spend as much or as little time to help put together this community project. The puzzle will remain until it has been completed. A new puzzle will be selected to replace it.

■ Jurassic Vote: February 1 – February 22 - Stomp into the library and vote on a name for the set of bones in the children’s area from a list of 5. All ages welcome to participat­e during regular library hours.

■ Questionab­le Hearts: February 1 – February 27 Match our questions with the appropriat­e heart word and enter for a chance to win a sweet treat that may just make your heart sing. All ages welcome to participat­e during regular library hours.

■ Take and Make Origami Penguin: February 1 – February 27 - Waddle into the library to pick up supplies and directions to make an origami penguin, while supplies last.

■ What do you love about our library?: February 1 – February 28 - February is library lover’s month. Fill out a heart and tell us what you love about your library. All who do will receive a sweet treat.

■ Between the Covers Book Club: 6:30 p.m. Monday This group meets monthly in the Meeting Room. This month’s selection is Night of Miracles by Elizabeth Berg. Books available at the Enon Branch. Contact the branch for more informatio­n on how to sign up.

■ Community of Crafterskn­itters & Crocheters: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Friday - Share ideas and knowledge and problem-solve with others. You may even participat­e in a service project. Feel free to bring one of your current projects to work on. For adults.

■ Valentine Activity Bag: February 1 – February 14 - Children, ages 2-12, may pick up a Valentine Activity Bag to take home during regular library hours, while supplies last.

■ Valentine Owl Hunt: February 1 – February 14 - Find the hidden “Happy Valentine’s Day” owl in the children’s area to receive an owl Valentine card with a sweet treat. Ages 2-12, while supplies last. Limit: 1 per child.

■ LEGO Club: 3:30 to 5 p.m. Monday - Bring your friends and have a great time being creative. LEGOS provided and final creations will be on display until the following month. For school-age children.

■ Hearty Party-family Night: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday Participat­e in “Minute-towin-it” games, have fun with glitter slime, create, make and take Valentine “Heart Attack” kits and more! Bring phone or camera for a photo booth opportunit­y. For families with children of all ages.

■ Storytime: 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Thursday - Program introduces toddlers and preschoole­rs to books, rhymes, music and crafts and teaches them how to interact with other children their age. Please call to register.

■ Board Game Night: 5 – 7:30 p.m. Thursday - Come for a fun evening out for adults! A variety of board games and instructio­ns will be provided by Jim & Kim Breeze.

■ Saturday Movie Matinee: 1 – 3 p.m. Saturday - Snacks provided or families may bring their own. Today’s movie is Brigadoon (G).

■ Storytime: 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Thursday - Together we will share stories, sing, move to music and make a craft. It’s a perfect chance to learn how to interact with other children ages 2-5. Parent or caregiver must be present with each child.
