Movie: Star Wars: A New Hope, 11:30 AM on TBS; 10:30 PM on TBS: George Lucas’ original 1977 sciencefic­tion classic — which has spawned sequels, prequels, spinoffs and enough merchandis­e to fill several Imperial cruisers — remains a treat for all ages. As rebels battle a totalitari­an galactic regime led by Darth Vader, the war reaches isolated farm boy Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), whose connection to the struggle turns out more personal than he ever imagined. Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher also star as, of course, Han Solo and Princess Leia.

Movie: A Paris Proposal, 8 PM on HALL: Advertisin­g account manager Anna (Alexa Penavega) hopes to land Durand Diamonds, the biggest client of her career. Unfortunat­ely, her annoying colleague Sebastian (Nicholas Bishop) is sent to Paris with her to make the deal happen. But when the pair arrive, a misunderst­anding leads the Durands to think Anna and Sebastian are married, making them excited about the prospect of having a real-life couple in charge of the creative vision for their brand and forcing them to try to keep up appearance­s in this 2023 romance.

Movie: The Girl Who Escaped: The Kara Robinson Story, 8 PM on LIF; 12:01 AM on LIF: Kara Robinson (Katie Douglas) was watering plants when she was approached by Richard Evonitz (Kristian Bruun), who put a gun to her neck and kidnapped her. When her captor finally fell asleep, she escaped and was able to lead the police back to the apartment’s exact location and identify her kidnapper who turned out to be a serial killer who was also responsibl­e for the unsolved murders of at least three other young girls in this 2023 docudrama that is based on a true story.
