Seek and Find - Shamrocks: month of March
Can you find the images of shamrocks hidden around the Lenski Children’s Center? See the staff person at the desk for a prize after you’ve found them all. Ages 3-18 (and still in school).
Take-n-make – Interactive Cloud/rainbow: month of April
Stop in to the Lenski Children’s Center and pick up a Take-n-make for your child to create at home. This month’s craft is an interactive cloud/rainbow.
Draw the Hero in Your Life @ SMOA: 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Sunday
In conjunction with upcoming visit by writer and illustrator Bryan Collier at the University of Dayton and Dayton Metro Library, this program will be held at the Springfield Museum of Art, 107 Cliff Park Road, Springfield. The library will host drawing events through the week.
Draw the Hero in Your Life: 4:00 p.m. Monday-friday
In conjunction with upcoming visit by writer and illustrator Bryan Collier at the University of Dayton and Dayton Metro Library, children under age 18 are invited to draw an inspirational BIPOC figure in their life and add a short biography about them if they choose. This will take place in the Lenski Children’s Center and works will be displayed at the library through April.
Little Blossoms Storytime: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday
This storytime engages babies and toddlers with books and learning through stories, music, movement and a simple craft idea to help develop fine motor skills. For ages birth to 2.5 years. Held in the Gaier Room.
Little Sprouts Storytime: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday
Led by a professional staff librarian, this storytime prepares preschoolers for later reading success through interactive stories, songs, rhymes, a craft idea and other fun activities to promote early literacy. For ages 3-5. Held in the Gaier Room.
Hiit to be Fit: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday
Join Marian Plank (NASM, CPT, CNC) for a free full body workout combining elements of strength and cardio set to a fun, upbeat soundtrack. Bring yourself and a mat! For adults.
Rose City Roleplayers: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Saturday
You will be shown the ins and outs of tabletop roleplaying games in this bi-weekly meetup in Meeting Rooms 1 and 2. For adults 18 and over (out of high school).
Board Game Club: 2:00 p.m. Saturday
Make friends while playing some classic favorites or try out something new. Ages 6-18 in the Lenski Program Room.

Piece By Piece - Adults: library hours – rotating puzzle
Come spend as much or as little time to help put together this community project. The puzzle will remain until it has been completed. A new puzzle will be selected to replace it.
March Madness (Library Style): March 1 – March 29
Vote for your favorite Disney character and move them from the Elite Eight to the Championship Round. Characters include: Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, Dumbo, Tinkerbell, Cinderella, Tigger and Goofy. Vote once each visit. All ages welcome to participate.
Where is Cottontail?: April 1 – April 28
Visit the children’s area and look for Cottontail. Children 12 and under will receive a sweet treat when they tell a staff member where they have spotted him.
Humor Match-up: April 1 – April 29
April is National Humor month. Take a moment to laugh and tickle your brain by matching humor trivia questions with the correct answers. Turn your sheet in at the desk for a small treat. For teens and adults.
Makerspace Projects: March 20 – April 17
Come check out the library’s makerspace technology while it visits the branch in March and April. Hours will be: Tuesdays 2-4 PM and Saturday April 1 from 2-4 PM. Other times available by appointment only.
Genealogy: 3:00 p.m. Monday
A time of sharing and learning about researching your family line. Learn about resources available to conduct your search and how a beginner can get started with filling in a family tree. All skill levels welcome. For adults.

Hop on down the Bunny Trail and see if you can find the eggs the Easter Bunny lost out of his basket. After you’ve found them, tell the librarian at the desk and receive a small treat. Ages 2-12, while supplies last. Limit 1 per child.
LEGO Club: 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday
Bring your friends and have a great time being creative. LEGOS provided and final creations will be on display until the following month. For school-age children.
