Can you find the images of hearts hidden around the Lenski Children’s Center? See the staff person at the desk for a prize after you’ve found them all. Ages 3-18 (and still in school).

Heart Bookmark: month of February

Pick up a craft bag with supplies and instructio­ns to make a heart bookmark, located at the Reference Desk during the month. While supplies last.

Celtic Knot Macramé Coaster: month of March

Learn how to make a Turk’s Head knot, a versatile sailor tie characteri­zed by its interwoven design that creates a closed loop. Kits available at the Reference Desk on a first-come, first-served basis.

Little Blossoms Storytime: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday

This storytime engages babies and toddlers with books and learning through stories, music, movement and a simple craft idea to help develop fine motor skills. For ages birth to 2.5 years. Held in the Gaier Room.

Little Sprouts Storytime: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday

Led by a profession­al staff librarian, this storytime prepares preschoole­rs for later reading success through interactiv­e stories, songs, rhymes, a craft idea and other fun activities to promote early literacy. For ages 3-5. Held in the Gaier Room.

Hiit to be Fit:

Tuesday

Join Marian Plank (NASM, CPT, CNC) for a free full body workout combining elements of strength and cardio set to a fun, upbeat soundtrack. Bring yourself and a mat! For adults in the Gaier Room.

Board Game Club: 10:30 a.m. Saturday

Make friends while playing some classic favorites or try out something new. For children in the Lenksi Program Room.

Rose City Roleplayer­s: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday

You will be shown the ins and outs of tabletop roleplayin­g games in this meetup held three times each month in Meeting Room 5. For adults 18 and over (out of high school).

What can we build with LEGO bricks? Check out books and receive 5 LEGO bricks to add to our creation. All ages welcome.

A Taste of Books-build Hannah’s Sandwich: February 1 – February 29

Help us find the ingredient­s for Hannah’s A to Z sandwich. Each day a different topping will be hidden in the children’s area. Locate the topping and tell a librarian to receive a small item. Children 12 and under.

A Taste of Books-march Madness:

March 1 – March 29 Vote for your favorite childhood food and move it from the Elite Eight to the Championsh­ip Round. Vote once each visit. All ages welcome.

Enjoy a monthly history program that is educationa­l and fun! Presented by Penny Dunbar with National Trail Parks and Recreation, this program is perfect for homeschool enrichment. Registrati­on is required through the NTPRD website at https:// ntprd.org/history-rocks-february.

Celebrate National Library Lover’s and National Snack Food Month by searching for the hidden “popcorn” in the library. Find it and receive a popcorn scented bookmark, while supplies last.

LEGO Club: 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday

Bring your friends and have a great time being creative. LEGOS provided and final creations will be on display until the following month. For school-age children.

Yoga for Beginners: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday

For adults of varying fitness levels. Most poses will be accompanie­d by modificati­ons for these various levels. Led by a staff member, not a certified instructor. Bring a mat or large towel.

Busy Bookworms Storytime:

11 a.m. – noon Thursday

Program introduces toddlers and preschoole­rs to books, rhymes, music and crafts and teaches them how to interact with other children their age. Please call to register.

Handcrafte­r’s U.F.O. (Unfinished Objects) night! Bring in your crochet or knitting project that you may need a nudge to finish or you’ve hit a snag in the directions and need a little help. Registrati­on is helpful but not required.

Hobby Painting Night: Miniatures:

5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Thursday
