First Lutheran

Pastor Ann Schmid will lead Second Sunday in Lent service at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday services will be at 12:15 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the chapel.

First Baptist

The second Sunday of

Lent will be celebrated at 10 a.m. with a message presented by Pastor Adam Banks. At 11:15 a.m. children’s Sunday School and the Adult Forum will be held. Musicians meet at 4 p.m. for the Taizé worship program which will take place at 5 p.m. in the sanctuary. Service is open to all expression­s of faith. Community potluck is after the service.

On Wednesday at 6 p.m. Bible study is held via ZOOM with a discussion of the book Enlighten Me by Rachel Martin. On Saturday, March 2, the Ladies of First Baptist Church will meet for breakfast at Frisch’s Restaurant on

East Main St. at 9 a.m.

NUMC Singers will provide music. At 5 p.m. the “Lenten Soup and Devotion Gathering will meet.

In the coming days: the Quilters and Sewing Group will meet Monday at 10 a.m.; The Bible Study will meet Wednesday at 11 a.m.; the Walking Group will meet Wednesday and Saturday 9:30 a.m. and on Saturday, March 2 the men will gather for breakfast at 8:30 a.m. at Studebaker­s’ on 41 and the women will meet there for lunch at noon.
