Seek and Find – Rain Boots: month of April

Can you find the images of rain boots hidden around the Lenski Children’s Center? See the staff person at the desk for a prize after you’ve found them all. Ages 3-18 (and still in school) may participan­t once each day.

Take and Make Origami Flower Box: month of April

Visit the Reference Desk to pick up an origami flower box kit, which includes instructio­ns and paper to make four flower boxes. Available while supplies last. For adults.

Little Blossoms Storytime: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday

This storytime engages babies and toddlers with books and learning through stories, music, movement and a simple craft idea to help develop fine motor skills. For ages birth to 2.5 years. Held in the Gaier Room.

Little Sprouts Storytime: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday

Led by a profession­al staff librarian, this storytime prepares preschoole­rs for later reading success through interactiv­e stories, songs, rhymes, a craft idea and other fun activities to promote early literacy. For ages 3-5. Held in the Gaier Room.

Hiit to be Fit: 2 p.m. Tuesday

Join Marian Plank (NASM, CPT, CNC) for a free full body workout combining elements of strength and cardio set to a fun, upbeat soundtrack. Bring yourself and a mat! For adults in the Gaier Room.

Essential Oils 101: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday

Essential Oils Specialist Kara Chambers will guide you on the history and practical uses of essential oils. Attendees will receive a Make & Take bag and a compatibil­ity scan to learn what oils work for them. Registrati­on is required.

Anime and Manga Club: 6 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. Thursday

Join us to chat about and share your favorite anime and manga with others just like you! Discuss the latest twists and turns of your manga and anime and have some fun. For ages 12-18 in Lenski Program Room.

Preschool Yoga Storytime: 10:30 a.m. Friday

Join us for stories incorporat­ing basic yoga, movement and meditation. Led by staff for preschool age children with their guardian in the Gaier Room.

Explorer’s Club: 10 a.m. – noon. Saturday

Using D&D 5th edition rules, we will explore the Forgotten Realms, discoverin­g secrets in the wilderness and making friends along the way. Registrati­on is required. Email kervin@ ccplohio.org. For ages 9-12 in the Gaier Room.

11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday

You will be shown the ins and outs of tabletop roleplayin­g games in this meetup held three times each month in Meeting Room 5. For adults 18 and over (out of high school).

Busy Bookworms Storytime: 11 a.m. – noon Thursday

Program introduces toddlers and preschoole­rs to books, rhymes, music and crafts and teaches them how to interact with other children their age. Please call to register.

Join us on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month as we experience an epic journey taking down monsters and exploring the great unknown. For ages 13-18 (still in high school). You do not need to know the rules of D&D to join.

Join us on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month as we delve into the deepest caverns and dangerous dungeons in search of wealth and wonders. For ages 9-12. You do not need to know the rules of D&D to join.

Free Comic Book Day Scavenger Hunt: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday

Go on a short scavenger hunt to find all of the superhero references, return to the desk and pick out a pack of comics! All ages.
