First Lutheran

The church celebrates Fifth Sunday of Easter and Music Sunday with worship at 9:30 a.m. led by Pastor Ann Schmid. At 3 p.m. Wittenberg’s Choral Choir presents their final concert of 2024 directed by Dr. Elizabeth Hainrihar. A reception follows the concert.

First Lutheran is handicap accessible with parking in their lot, on the street, and on Sunday parking is available at Senior Services beside the church.

First Baptist

Walkers will meet at the church for a health and fellowship walk in the neighborho­od on Saturday at 9 a.m.

The third Sunday after Easter will be celebrated at 10 a.m. with a message presented by Pastor Adam Banks. At 11:15 a.m. children’s Sunday School and the Adult Forum will be held.

Bible study is Wednesday at 6 p.m. via ZOOM with a discussion of the gospel of Mark.

On Saturday, May 4, at 9 a.m. the ladies of First Baptist Church will meet for breakfast at Frisch’s on East Main Street.

Covenant Presbyteri­an

Services are held in person and live on Youtube every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Guest preacher Cheryl Powers

will offer the sermon Adult Sunday school is open to all at 9 a.m. Childfrien­dly area is available in the sanctuary, and child care is available.

Please mark your calendars for Jazz Sunday on Mother’s Day, May 12, at 10:30 am.

Vacation Bible School will be offered June 9-13, with the theme “SCUBA: diving into friendship with God”.

Northridge United Methodist

The congregati­on will gather for worship Sunday at 10 a.m., both in person and on Facebook Live. The service will be led by Rev. Walter Mock while Pastor Ken Woode is away.

In the coming days: the Quilting Group will meet Monday at 10 a..m.; the Walking Group will meet on Wednesday and Saturday at 9:30 a.m.

Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast will be Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon in the gymnasium.

Guest Worship Leader Rev. Steven Rice will lead Sunday Service in the sanctuary at 9 a.m.

The Food Pantry is closed May 1st and open the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesday of the month. The Outreach Thrift Store is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rainbow Table Meal is Friday from noon to 1 p.m.
