LITTLE FALLS - Dearly loved Susan (Sue) M. Green of Little Falls, MN, passed away peacefully on February 12th, 2024, surrounded by loved ones at Quiet Oaks Hospice.

Sue was born to Alex and Lucille Polfliet in Marshall, MN, on May 7th, 1957. She grew up one of 12 children. Susan graduated from Marshall high school then completed secretaria­l education. She began a career with Morton Buildings, where she was eventually promoted to sales. Sue spent most of her career as a successful sales person, one of few women in the role. Her commitment to her customers, down to earth nature and humor helped her achieve many sales awards, including memorable vacations. After moving to Little Falls, Susan worked at Highland Senior Living as a compassion­ate health aid, cook and activities facilitato­r. Sue cared for people with dignity and respect.

In 2004, Sue met her fishing partner Joseph (Joe) Nagel. The two spent many years fishing off their pontoon and ice fishing near their home in Little Falls, MN. Sue helped Joe, along with his sons, run a successful deer cutting business for many years. Sue also loved to garden and can food, which she shared with her friends and family. Talented and creative, she crocheted many cherished items for her loved ones.

Survived by children Spencer Green, Molly Darsow, (Blake), Tony Nagel (Jaime); grandchild­ren Lydia Darsow, Lincoln Nagel and Ezra Nagel; siblings Yvonne Caron, Patsy (Bob) Roering, Judy (George) Marlow, David Polfliet (Sue), Nancy Chanay, Jim Polfliet (Joann), Bob Polfliet (Deb), Helen Louwagie (Tom), Donald Polfliet (Mary Jo); many loved nieces and nephews.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Nagel, stepson Andrew Nagel, Parents Alex and Lucille Pofliet, siblings Janet, Bernadette and Mark Polfliet.

A Celebratio­n of Life is being planned for this spring at Pine Grove Park in Little Falls, MN. Details to come.
