Season Finale
The season concludes with back-toback hourlong episodes. First, in “The Sword and the Shield,” Martin Luther King Jr. (Kelvin Harrison Jr.) and Malcolm X (Aaron Pierre) meet briefly in Washington, D.C., while supporting the passage of the Civil Rights Act. King wins the Nobel Peace Prize, Malcolm forms two new organizations, and both men are under scrutiny and surveillance. Then, in “Can You Imagine,” the two leaders are assassinated, but their legacies continue to inspire.
