This film is based on the true story of Kemba Smith (Nesta Cooper), a college student who falls in love with a man (Siddiq Saunderson). Unfortunat­ely, he turns out to be a drug kingpin who leads her down a path of abuse and manipulati­on, placing her in the middle of the government’s “war on drugs” and ultimately landing her in federal prison.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

Season Finale

The season concludes with back-toback hourlong episodes. First, in “The Sword and the Shield,” Martin Luther King Jr. (Kelvin Harrison Jr.) and Malcolm X (Aaron Pierre) meet briefly in Washington, D.C., while supporting the passage of the Civil Rights Act. King wins the Nobel Peace Prize, Malcolm forms two new organizati­ons, and both men are under scrutiny and surveillan­ce. Then, in “Can You Imagine,” the two leaders are assassinat­ed, but their legacies continue to inspire.

NBC, 10 p.m.

A rescued victim from Stabler’s (Christophe­r Meloni) past goes missing. Meanwhile, Bell (Danielle Moné Truitt) recovers in the hospital as Jet (Ainsley Seiger), Reyes (Rick Gonzalez) and Bashir (Abubakr Ali) are all questioned by IAB; and Joe Jr. (Michael Trotter) shows off his new career path.
