Les Soloff

Les Soloff, age 82, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2018, surrounded by loved ones at home in Boca Raton, FL. Les is survived by his wife Joan Soloff, sons Mark Soloff, Andy Soloff, Jeff Haas, Dr. Jim Haas, daughter Kim Nottonson, and his brother Dr. Bruce Soloff. Les was born on December 7, 1935 in Bridgeport, CT, to parents Noah and Pearl Soloff. He grewup in Stamford, CT and moved with his family to Norwich, VT in 1980 where they built and ran a hotel in West Lebanon, NH and turned it into a very successful business. In 2004, Les and Joan retired to Boca Raton, FL.

Les was a great family man and a loving father. He married Joan on July 20, 1972. Les loved traveling with his family throughout New England and later throughout Europe. He enjoyed sports cars and collecting sports memorabilia and antiques, especially his antique clocks. He had a great sense of humor and charm that would light up any room.

Friends and family will remember Les as a very passionate and strong family man that made friends everywhere he went. He will be truly missed.

A graveside funeral is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on June 18, 2018 at Temple Beth El Cemetery at 350 Roxbury Rd., Stamford, CT. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Les’s life. We ask that donations are sent in lieu of flowers to The American Heart Association.
