Scene … Greenwich resident Bernice Carroll was seen talking with Michael Kay, New York Yankees announcer and host of “The Michael Kay Show,” at Pomodoro Pizzeria & Trattoria in the Riverside Shopping Center last Saturday evening. Kay was there dining with his wife, broadcast journalist Jodi Applegate, and children Caledonia and Charles.

Scene … Kyle Shanahan, head coach and offensive coordinato­r of the San Francisco 49ers, and his wife, Mandy, were spotted having dinner with friends at Gabriele’s Italian Steakhouse in Greenwich. Also seen: WWE wrestler/actor Paul Michael Levesque — better known as Triple H — and his wife, WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon.

Out there … Award-winning country crooner and actor Tim McGraw will headline the 2018 Greenwich Wine + Food Festival on Sept. 22, on the Pepsi Stage at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park. The eighth annual event — taking place on Sept. 21 and Sept. 22 — will also feature culinary celebritie­s Daniel Boulud, Scott Conant, Mary Giuliani, Alex Guarnasche­lli and Adam Richman and will honor chefs Ben Freemole from the Tavern at Gray Barns in Norwalk; Julio Genao from Prime Stamford; Cedric Lamouille of Bistro V in Greenwich; Ben Pope from Mr. Koo’s Kitchen in Irvington, N.Y.; Susanne Berne of Bianco Rosso in Wilton; Jay LeBlanc from Knot Norm’s Catering Co. in Norwalk; Armando Sanchez of Washington Prime in Norwalk; Antonio Selendic of Dubrovnik in New Rochelle, N.Y.; and Brad Stewart from Flinders Lane in Stamford. The festival, which benefits a number of charities including the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, kicks off with a Master Chef Wine dinner on Friday evening and a Culinary Village on Saturday, along with a Grand Tasting Tent, a celebrity Green Room, celebrity book signings, cooking demos and Q&A sessions with top culinary experts. On stage… Legendary singer/songwriter Joe Jackson will perform at Stamford Downtown’s Wednesday Nite Live Summer Concert Series on July 11 at 6:30 p.m. in Columbus Park.
