Richard Michael Aron passed away on Oc­to­ber 31, 2018 from can­cer. He was born on Oc­to­ber 12, 1934 in New York, and grew up in Nor­walk, at­tend­ing St. Luke’s School. He grad­u­ated from Prince­ton Uni­ver­sity in 1956 and re­ceived a mas­ter’s de­gree and PhD in elec­tri­cal en­gi­neer­ing from Cal­i­for­nia In­sti­tute of Tech­nol­ogy. He led the M. Aron Cor­po­ra­tion, an ap­parel man­u­fac­tur­ing com­pany, for many years and was a long­time res­i­dent of Stam­ford, CT. He is pre­de­ceased by his wife, Phyl­lis and daugh­ter Jen­nifer, and sur­vived by his wife Gigi, son Wil­liam (Kather­ine), brother, Jef­frey (Rita), sis­ter Ruthie (Ken) and grand­son Parker, as well as Gigi’s chil­dren (Del­phine, Jeremy and Gre­gory) and grand­chil­dren, neph­ews, nieces and cousins. The funeral will be held at Tem­ple Beth El, 350 Roxbury Road, Stam­ford, CT at 1 p.m. on Sun­day, Novem­ber 4th. Con­do­lences may be of­fered at www. leop­gal­lagher­stam­ford.com
