In South End, residents decry latest BLT plan

“You all are in for it. You all voted for a do-nothing mayor that BLT has in its pocket along with the Zoning board that makes up the rules as they change. A skyscraper was not in mind when buying out B&S Carting. Agree, no affordable restaurants can be found in the new Harbor site, without taking a mortgage to go too, not even a Dunkin’, a Donut Delight or a Starbucks, which has a good footprint here in Stamford.”

“Whatever BLT wants, BLT gets. Money buys influence in Scamford, and it does not really take all that much money to get your way in City Hall. As long as rates remain low, the building will continue. I like empty buildings...they remind me of Chernobyl.”
