Chester John Paradyse

Chester J. Paradyse, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. He was born in Adams, MA, son of the late John and Rose Szenda Paradyse.

He was a graduate of Stamford High School, Class of 1947. He joined the United States Air Force and was stationed at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. He received an Honorable Discharge from service in 1954. Chester enjoyed a successful and long career as an Electrical Engineer for John Brown Engineerin­g in Stamford, CT. Upon retiring, he and Rose extensivel­y traveled the world, exploring several continents and remote locations taking in as many adventures and experience­s anyone could only imagine. He was an avid golfer, played every weekend at Sterling Farms Golf Course and various courses in their travels.

Most recently he was a resident of Brighton Gardens Assisted Living in Stamford, where he enjoyed participat­ing in the community and was well known to his caregivers for his quick wit and spunky spirit!

Chester is survived by his daughters Cheryl Royce of New York City and Coleen Bocuzzo and her husband William of Stamford. Also surviving are two nieces Patricia Simonelli and JoAnne Stanton.

Besides his parents he was predecease­d by his wife Rose Geraldine Ferraro Paradyse and his brother Joseph Paradyse.

Funeral services and Interment were held privately.
