Ch­ester John Paradyse

Ch­ester J. Paradyse, 88, passed away peace­fully on Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 28, 2018. He was born in Adams, MA, son of the late John and Rose Szenda Paradyse.

He was a grad­u­ate of Stam­ford High School, Class of 1947. He joined the United States Air Force and was sta­tioned at Scott Air Force Base, Illi­nois. He re­ceived an Hon­or­able Dis­charge from ser­vice in 1954. Ch­ester en­joyed a suc­cess­ful and long ca­reer as an Elec­tri­cal En­gi­neer for John Brown En­gi­neer­ing in Stam­ford, CT. Upon re­tir­ing, he and Rose ex­ten­sively trav­eled the world, ex­plor­ing sev­eral con­ti­nents and re­mote lo­ca­tions tak­ing in as many ad­ven­tures and ex­pe­ri­ences any­one could only imag­ine. He was an avid golfer, played ev­ery week­end at Ster­ling Farms Golf Course and var­i­ous cour­ses in their trav­els.

Most re­cently he was a res­i­dent of Brighton Gar­dens As­sisted Liv­ing in Stam­ford, where he en­joyed par­tic­i­pat­ing in the com­mu­nity and was well known to his care­givers for his quick wit and spunky spirit!

Ch­ester is sur­vived by his daugh­ters Cheryl Royce of New York City and Coleen Bocuzzo and her hus­band Wil­liam of Stam­ford. Also sur­viv­ing are two nieces Pa­tri­cia Si­monelli and JoAnne Stan­ton.

Be­sides his par­ents he was pre­de­ceased by his wife Rose Geral­dine Fer­raro Paradyse and his brother Joseph Paradyse.

Fu­neral ser­vices and In­ter­ment were held pri­vately.

The Ni­cholas F. Cognetta Fu­neral Home & Cre­ma­tory is hon­ored to as­sist the Paradyse fam­ily with the ar­range­ments.
