The Archdiocesan Byzantine Choir will perform a Christmas Concert of Ecclesiastical and folk music on at 7 p.m. Dec. 15 at The Church of the Archangels, Greek Orthodox Church, 1527 Bedford St.
The public concert will be held in the sanctuary followed by a reception at the Greek Cultural Center on the church campus. Tickets are $30 per person at the door. The program will be provided with an English translation.

Author Gitty Daneshvari was a recent special guest at the Long Ridge School to support the school’s visiting author program.
Daneshvari gave a presentation, read and signed copies of the first book from her “School of Fear” series.

The Loft Artists Association will hold a A Holiday Pop Up Art Show and Sale in the Phillips Gallery at 575 Pacific St. Dec. 14 to 16 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. with a holiday reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 14.
“This pop-up exhibit will highlight small artwork and crafts perfect for holiday gift giving,” said Mark Macrides, LAA director.
Loft Artist members were invited to bring together small drawings, paintings, photographs, sculptures, collages and other mixed-media pieces, as well as a variety of handcrafted items such as cards, ceramics, jewelry and ornaments to create a gallery filled with diverse artwork and crafts.
The Loft Artists Association is celebrating its 40th anniversary. The nonprofit organization is dedicated to providing artists with a supportive environment and opportunities to exhibit their work in professional galleries. WESTOVER
Tickets are on sale for the 2018 Stamford AllSchool Musical’s production of Roald Dahl’s “Willy Wonka,” which will feature more than 100 students from 19 area schools. The performances will start at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at 3 p.m. Sunday. All performances will be held at Westhill High School.
The Stamford All-School Musical is an after-school musical theater program, sponsored by the Stamford Public Schools, open to Stamford students or residents in grades 5 through 12.

The Stamford Chorale will present “Favorite Songs from Broadway and the American Songbook” at 4 p.m. Dec. 16 at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Eric Trudel will conduct the community chorus, now marking its 70th anniversary. Cihan Yücel will be the accompanist. Soloists will be mezzo-soprano Carly Callahan and tenor Charles Widmer.
Tickets are $20 and will be available at the door.
