Meetup with Malek rocks Green­wich res­i­dents

Scene… Green­wich res­i­dents Kath­leen and Jay Bel­lis­simo met up with the cast of “Bo­hemian Rhap­sody” while visit­ing Tokyo re­cently. The cast of the newly re­leased movie was at­tend­ing the Ja­panese pre­miere of the hit biopic at the Rop­pongi Hills Theater in Tokyo. The movie is based on the band Queen and its leader Fred­die Mer­cury, por­trayed by Emmy-win­ning ac­tor Rami Malek, a fa­vorite in the race for the Os­car for best ac­tor for his ex­traor­di­nary per­for­mance as the late singer.

Out there… The win­ners of Stam­ford Down­town’s Hol­i­day Win­dow Salute are: Nobu Florist, Lucky’s Clas­sic Restau­rant, Stage­coach Olive Oil & Vine­gar, Remo’s and Brad­ford’s Grill & Tav­ern.

Scene… Green­wich res­i­dent and ac­tor Daniel Cos­grove was seen on Green­wich Av­enue last week­end. Cos­grove is known for his por­trayal of lawyer Matt Durn­ing on the Fox drama “Bev­erly Hills 90210” as well as his roles on the pop­u­lar soap op­eras “Guid­ing Light,” “As The World Turns” and “Days of Our Lives.”

Out there… For the health con­scious, Yoga and Art takes place in the gallery at The Brant Foun­da­tion Art Study Cen­ter at 941 North St. in Green­wich from 6 to 7 p.m. Thurs­day, Jan. 3. The event is in­spired by the work of artist Francesco Cle­mente and will be led by Kaia Yoga in­struc­tor Su­san Lay­den.
