Scene… Former NBA star and ESPN’s “Get Up!” analyst Jalen Rose and his wife, Molly Qerim-Rose, host of ESPN’s “First Take,” were seen talking with Greenwich resident Robert Harris on Greenwich Avenue last Monday afternoon.

Out there… The Perfect Provenance in Greenwich is hosting Wholesome Italian Cooking with Silvia Baldini, a champion from the Food Network’s “Chopped.” The event will be dished up at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Baldini, co-founder of the Secret Ingredient Girls and founder of the creative food group Strawberry and Sage in Connecticu­t, has appeared on CNN, ABC and “The Dr. Oz Show.” Her work and recipes have been published in Food & Wine, Bon Appetit and Saveur, to name a few. Out there… Former WABC-TV senior meteorolog­ist and Greenwich resident Bill Evans, who was one of TV’s favorite weathermen for 30 years, is now program director at WLNG-FM 92.1, an oldies radio station in Sag Harbor, N.Y. The station is owned by his wife, Sandra Foschi, who is also the owner of the Health SOS Physical Therapy, with locations in Connecticu­t, New York and Long Island.

Scene… Pop sensation Kesha will perform at the fifth anniversar­y party for the GIFF — also known as the Greenwich Internatio­nal Film Festival. The party will be held June 1 at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., as part of the five-day event. Kesha is best known for her hit “Right Round” with rapper Flo Rida, who performed at GIFF’s gala in 2017. Actress Connie Nielsen, known for her roles in “Gladiator” and “Wonder Woman,” will also be on hand to present awards. Scene… The Palace Theater in Stamford is hosting a six-week Elements of Playwritin­g workshop for adults led by writer, producer and filmmaker Mathilde Dratwa, a teaching artist for The Shakespear­e Society, The Roundabout Theatre Company and The New Victory Theatre in New York.
