Seven arrests during TPain Alive@Five show in Stamford

“7000 people! Isn't it about time to think about a new place to hold these concerts!” Angela Salvatore via fb.com/stamfordadvocate

“Stamford won't move it because they r all about $$ and not about the safety of people.. they should have it at the park like New Haven they have free concerts... Stamford is just greedy.. it use to be a $5 entry fee now it $20 to get in for what?? To be packed in there like sardines can't bring in chairs u can't do anything.” Monique Valles via fb.com/stamfordadvocate

“SPD did a great job i was a few feet from 2 of those fights and they cleaned up and took care of everything quickly. It was a great night to be out and about!” Anthony CT Carde via fb.com/stamfordadvocate

“That’s average for hip hop. As long as no one is killed or seriously hurt or injured.” Ivan Rodriguez via fb.com/stamfordadvocate

“Gee really that doesn’t surprise me with some of the concerts we have down there, it’s very sad that there has to be any trouble, I don’t go because of this nonsense.” Cathy D'Ademo Wuchiski via fb.com/stamfordadvocate

“Hopefully the injured officers will recover soon. I went to go to the concert but it was far too crowded with a long line. Hopefully those who did this will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, potentially incarcerated.” Greg Kalt via fb.com/stamfordadvocate “7, is a low number! Good job patrons! Seems we aren't such a hateful society after all! MSM would like us to think we are, but from where I sit people are for the most part respecting each other. That's America!” Karen Milano Nilsson via fb.com/stamfordadvocate

Darien man charged with manhandling Stamford day laborer

“I’ve had day laborers do work for me in the past. I always gave them extra $. They worked hard and were grateful for the job. I couldn’t find people to do small jobs and no one advertising as handymen ever called me back. The laborers are happy to have the work.” Toni Kokoros via fb.com/stamfordadvocate

“This is more common then what you guys can imagine. When I use to work in landscaping & construction home owners would make up any excuse not to pay even tho the work was done correctly. Or cry about the price after it was agreed on. Happens a lot in Darien and New Canaan.” Jose Alvarez via fb.com/stamfordadvocate “Wow how about I smash his car with a baseball bat.” Diego Duque via fb.com/stamfordadvocate

“There are stupid people everywhere .... shame on him! Someone should kick him.” Cheryl Dooley Cavalea via fb.com/stamfordadvocate

“Mr. bigshot Darien , wanted to save a few pennies. Now spend ten grand on a lawyer.” Uncle Fester via stamfordadvocate.com “Deport BOTH of them.” Passive Observer via stamfordadvocate.com “8 U.S. Code §1324a.Unlawful employment of aliens. Both should be arrested.” BCT via stamfordadvocate.com

“Hopefully ICE will target the day laborer pickup spot on Elm Street. Would love to see that part of town cleaned up.” Johnny1111 via stamfordadvocate.com

“Someone. Somewhere is now going to raise awareness about day laborer abuse. How it affects everyone and why its Trumps fault.Hugs and quilts to all.” glen brook kid via stamfordadvocate.com “Oh geesh, give it a break.

Not that anyone should abuse day workers, they just shouldn't use them to save a few dollars. Do they pay taxes on the income, do they have a family where their kids are going to our schools where everyone else has to cover that cost.

The city should shut down these pickup sites and stop this practice of using day laborers and the contractors that hire them.” RM12 via stamfordadvocate.com

“This current administration fosters the abuses going on. For the USA to be great again it’s time for huge sweeping changes. Other countries have given travel warnings to their citizens traveling to the US due to gun violence. We are the laughing stock now.” CUINVA via stamfordadvocate.com
