The 3rd Annual Hey Stamford! Food Festival returns to Mill River Park Aug. 2425, from 19 p.m. on both days.

The event will feature over 40 food trucks over two days, as well as music from “The Voice” contestant Michael Lee, craft beer from the Blind Rhino Beer Garden, and a Kids Zone with games and activities for children.

“Stamford alone is home to an everevolvi­ng and diverse selection of eateries,” reads the descriptio­n of the event on the food fest’s website. “Foodies can experience everything from 5Star restaurant­s to unique eats from a food truck.”

Price of admission is $15 or $25 for both days. There is also a VIP experience for $75 that gives you access to the VIP section, as well as a number of other offerings.

SOUTH END

SoundWater­s will host the fourth annual HarborFest on Aug. 24.

The daylong event features activities for the general public on and by the water to celebrate the ecological and commercial vibrancy of the area, while increasing public accessibil­ity of Stamford Harbor and Long Island Sound.

The day starts with a boat parade and ends with fireworks, with an assortment of activities in between.

Those activities include the popular cardboard kayak races, Stamford Harbor history tours by boat, marine animals touch tanks, kids’ boat building, and harbor boat rides, among other offerings.

HarborFest also features live music, a vendor village, an oyster lounge, a dog parade, mini golf and a cornhole tournament.

While access to HarborFest is free, some of the events come with a fee.

The Harbor Point Farmers Market takes place every Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1 Harbor Point Road.

The market offers a variety of freshpicke­d fruits, vegetables, baked goods, cut flowers and plants, and more.

There will be live music from noon to 2 p.m.

Compliment­ary parking is available at garages located at 2200 Atlantic St. and 100 Washington Blvd., and at the surface lot at 210 Washington Blvd.

In the event of inclement weather, vendors will be located under covering between the Towers at the Beacon Harbor Point Apartments, at 1 Harbor Point Drive.

WEST SIDE

Thanks to a U.S. Department of Agricultur­e grant, Fairgate Farm, at 129 Stillwater Ave., hosts biweekly farmers markets on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Fairgate Farm is thrilled to offer the community an alternativ­e way of sourcing fresh organic produce. The farmers market offers produce, fresh flowers and herbs from Fairgate Farm, as well as sourcing from local Connecticu­t farms to offer a seasonal selection of organic fruits and vegetables.

The Fairgate Farm Farmers Market accepts cash and SNAP benefits.

It is open on Thursdays from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to noon, into October.

WATERSIDE

The Rehoboth Fellowship Church will host a community back to school prayer time Sunday at 9 a.m., as part of the morning worship service.

Students will receive a gift certificat­e to use in offsetting costs for clothing and footwear to return to school.
