Scene… Actress Sarah Jessica Parker of “Sex and the City” fame and her husband, actor Matthew Broderick, were seen eating breakfast at the Lakeside Diner on Long Ridge Road in Stamford last week. The popular diner has been the location for several films, including “College Road Trip,” “In Bloom” and “The Ice Storm.”

Out there… Over 1,100 guests attended the Breast Cancer Alliance’s 24th annual luncheon and fashion show at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich last week. The event — which was cochaired by Dr. Amy Kappelman Johnson, Nina Lindia, Lauren Schweibold and BCA executive director Yonni Wattenmake­r — raised a record $1.6 million for its fight to improve survival rates and quality of life for those affected by breast cancer. Singersong­writer John Forté kicked off the celebratio­n with a song he wrote for his friend and mentor, singer Carly Simon, when she was battling the disease. Keynote speaker Chef Todd English shared the story of his sister’s brave battle against breast cancer and raised $50,000 with his live auction donations. Then, the Models of Inspiratio­n brought down the house with a fabulous runway show, featuring a collection of fall fashions from Richards. Scene… A very pregnant actress Anne Hathaway and her husband, actor/ producer Adam Shulman, were spotted at Funky Monkey on Greenwich Avenue yet again last week. The couple, who are expecting their second child, couldn't resist the giant stuffed unicorn among the toys they purchased. The couple also have a 3year old son, Jonathan.

Out there… The Greenwich Old Timers 59th Annual Awards Dinner takes place Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich. The event celebrates this year’s national honorees, GHS athlete and former Denver Bronco Kenny Bell along with former NY Mets Art Shamsky, who is also an ESPN and WNEWTV announcer. The local honorees are Kim O’Gorman and DeDe Passerelle and the Coaches Award will go to honoree Rob Spaeth. The event also will feature an open bar and cocktail reception, dinner, sports raffle and a silent auction of sports memorabili­a. Out there… The Children of Fallen Patriots will hold its 11th annual Greenwich gala on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Riverside Yacht Club on Old Club Road in Riverside. The evening will consist of a cocktail hour, dinner, a video presentati­on featuring one of the Fallen Patriots’ families, a live auction, speakers and the FundASchol­arship live event. Lt. Gen.
