The most important issue in this election: Darien is on the eve of historic, transformational redevelopment. Providing support for the successful completion of these new projects and enhancing the pedestrian experience is paramount. In addition, working collaboratively with all town boards and staff to provide accountable, efficient, innovative and costeffective government service to our community have my focused attention.
Other issues: As an experienced Chief Elected Official and regional leader, maintaining a safe, healthy, sustainable, family and businessfriendly community, supporting high quality public education for our children and effective and accountable government service while limiting tax burdens and reliance on state support are my highest priorities.
Family: Married 32 years to husband John Stevenson. We have five children (4 daughters and one son) ages 2029, all of whom attended Darien Public Schools, and one grandchild.
