Out there… The Breast Cancer Alliance’s Virtual Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show takes place at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19. On the air… Actor Richard Gere of Pound Ridge, N.Y., placed a call into neighbor Martha Stewart last week while Carson Daly was interviewi­ng her on the “Today” show. While talking about her latest book, “Martha Stewart’s Cake Perfection,” and demonstrat­ing how to make three of her signature cakes, Gere called to ask for her mile-high salted-caramel chocolate cake. Once the segment wrapped, Stewart personally delivered the delicious cake to her friend.

Scene… Greenwich’s own favorite judge, Judy Sheindlin, was seen shopping at Richards on Greenwich Avenue last Monday afternoon.
