Greenwich boasts a ‘home for the holidays’ DISH

The idyllic winter getaway home for holiday is inspired by Lifetime’s 2020 holiday movie lineup. Out there… “Wish Upon The North Star,” a virtual event to benefit Children’s Hospice Programming and the North Star Expansion at the Regional Hospice in Danbury takes place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3. The event, which supports babies and children with terminal illnesses, will feature special guests Miguel Cervantes, Broadway’s “Hamilton,” performing original work in memory of his late daughter, Adelaide, and singer-songwriter Jonathan Davis, who will perform “One Wish,” created exclusively for Regional Hospice. Lit up … Stamford Downtown has launched its holiday lighting display, with over 25 brightly lit trees gracing Summer Street, Bedford Street and Atlantic Street. The display includes the oak tree at the entrance of the Ferguson Library with over 12,000 lights, as well as Kiwanis Park, Latham Park and Columbus Park, the biggest and brightest part of the entire downtown display. The display of lights runs through March, with over 300,000 miniature lights wrapping the trees.
