Conservative media faces spotted at dinner
Scene… Some well-known faces from the media were seen having dinner together at L’Escale at the Delamar in Greenwich last weekend. Ray Kelly, the longest-serving commissioner in the history of New York Police Department; his wife Veronica Kelly; and son Greg Kelly, host of “Greg Kelly Reports” on Newsmax TV, dined out on the patio with Greenwich resident and WOR radio host Mark Simone; conservative media pundit, author and lawyer Ann Coulter; women’s rights activist and philanthropist Francine LeFrak; and director/screenwriter Rick Friedberg.
Scene… Actor Richard Gere was seen at the Bedford Post Inn last Sunday afternoon. The Pound Ridge, N.Y., resident is the co-owner of the historic property on Old Post Road in Bedford, N.Y., that houses two restaurants and a luxury inn.

Scene… Word around town is that members of the popular English rock band Squeeze were staying at The Lloyd hotel in Stamford last week. The band, which enjoyed numerous hits in the ‘70s and ‘80s, performed at the Ridgefield Playhouse on Aug. 4 as part of their Nomadband Tour and will return for a second show on Aug. 10. Out there… Singer/musician Jose Feliciano of Weston is performing at The Ridgefield Playhouse from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14. Summer fun… The annual St. Roch’s Feast at St. Roch Church on St. Roch Avenue in Greenwich takes place starting at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, and running through Saturday, Aug. 14.
