Vacation like a ‘Real Housewife’ with this Airbnb
DORINDA MEDLEY LISTS MANSION NEAR CT BORDER ON AIRBNB
If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to live like a “Real Housewives” star, you can soon find out — right over the state line.
The former “Real Housewives of New York City” star Dorinda Medley has listed her Tudor-style mansion in Great Barrington, Mass., on Airbnb. Available for two one-night stays of parties of up to four guests, Airbnb notes that Medley is listing the property while she is away promoting her new memoir, “Make It Nice.”
Called Blue Stone Manor, the listing also notes that the 1902 estate is “best known as the idyllic setting of some of our, well, less-than-idyllic scenes on the ‘Real Housewives of New York.’” The nearly 11,000-square-foot home “traces back to the Gilded Age,” according to the property description, and features splashes of color throughout each room, such as the dining room with a “green hand-painted ceiling” or a billiards room with purple sofas.
Medley told People.com that she wrote her memoir at Blue Stone Manor while quarantining there through 2020.
“I think after everything the world has gone through, just to have this experience up there, and not just see it on TV, but to touch it, feel it, know it, look at it — I really think people will have a great time,” she told People.com.
The one-night-only stays are slated for either Aug. 23 or Aug. 25, with the chance to book the estate opening up on Wednesday, Aug. 18 at 12 p.m. The cost: $100 per night before taxes and fees.
And if the bookings are immediately snapped up, Airbnb notes that Medley is offering an “online experience” for up to 10 guests on Friday, Aug. 27 called “Make it Nice and Boozy.” Starting at 4 p.m., Medley will lead a virtual happy hour and discuss the art of hosting live from Blue Stone Manor.
MEDLEY TOLD PEOPLE.COM THAT SHE WROTE HER MEMOIR AT BLUE STONE MANOR WHILE QUARANTINING THERE THROUGH 2020.
