From CT to Hollywood

‘FIRST FAMILY OF TIK TOK’ TALKS FAME, FAMILY AND NEW HULU SHOW

They are known as the “first family of TikTok,” but before the D’Amelio family established a celebrity status that launched them to Hollywood, they were living in Norwalk. “Life in Norwalk was fun, familiar and fairly normal,” Marc D’Amelio told Hearst Connecticut Media in an email. “I had lived in Connecticut most of my life and loved the fact that my daughters were growing up in the city that I called home at their age.”

“Life in Norwalk before TikTok fame was great,” Dixie D’Amelio added via email. “My family has always been super close and we lived a pretty normal life. All of this happened so quickly and I’m grateful that we’ve had each other throughout the whole process.”

Now the D’Amelio family is starring in a new docuseries. “The D’Amelio Show” premiered on Sept. 3 on Hulu and “gives fans an inside look at the life of social media stars, Dixie and Charli D’Amelio, along with their parents, Marc and Heidi,” according to Hulu.
