Jon “Jonny G” Giancola, 62, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Saint Camillus Convalesce­nt Home in Stamford, after a short, but courageous battle with cancer. Born October 25, 1959 in Stamford, he is the son of the late Nicholas L. Giancola Sr, and Rose Ottanio Giancola.

He worked for Federal Hairstylis­t for 43 years as a barber. He was also a part time bartender at The Villa Café. Jon graduated from Westhill High School in 1977, and went to Bullard Haven Technical School, from 1977 to 1978. He was a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Stamford.

Jon is survived by his brother Nicholas L. Giancola, Jr, his two sisters, Karen Piacenza and her husband Michael of Stamford, CT and Ann C. Servideo and her husband Louis of Milford, CT. He is also survived by his best friend, Joe Pierne and by many nieces and nephews.

Jon was predecease­d by his twin brother Paul “Little Lou”, his sister-in-law, Nancy Giancola, and by a niece, Jennifer Tomasello.

The Giancola family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, November 29th from 4pm to 8pm at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at celebrated at 10:30am on Tuesday, November 30th at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave, Stamford, CT. His interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien, CT.
