Scene… Olympic figure skaters Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski are reportedly staying at the Delamar on Steamboat Road in Greenwich while covering the Beijing Olympics for NBC Sports. The duo, along with other notable sports figures and news anchors including “Today” show co-host Savannah Guthrie, are broadcasti­ng from the NBC Sports headquarte­rs in Stamford.

Out there… “A Comedy Night with Friends” takes place at the Greenwich Library at 7 p.m. Thursday. The Friends of Greenwich Library is hosting the event with three award-winning comedians — Jane Condon, Julia Scotti and Kathe Farris — on the Berkley Theatre stage. Scene… Award-winning actor, playwright and director Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator and original star of Broadway’s “Hamilton,” will be honored at this year’s Greenwich Internatio­nal Film Festival. The GIFF takes place on May 25 at L’Escale in Greenwich. Miranda, the Pulitzer, Grammy, Emmy and Tony award winner, will receive the 2022 Changemake­r Award, which honors artists who have used their public platform and power of film to promote positive social change. “Today” co-host Jenna Bush-Hager will serve as emcee at the event. Past honorees include Eva Longoria Baston, Ashley Judd, Renée Zellweger, Christy Turlington Burns, Freida Pinto, Trudie Styler, Abigail Breslin, Harry Belafonte and Mia Farrow.
