David M. Wallman passed away peacefully on February 8th in Stamford Hospital in the loving presence of his two sons and close personal friends, after a brief and intense battle with cancer.

David practiced law for more than 40 years and was acknowledg­ed as a Preeminent Peer Rated attorney by Martindale Hubbel for the highest level of profession­al service. David’s lawyering was inspired. A long career based in genuine service, David’s intellect and creativity led to significan­t outcomes for his clients. David was a passionate attorney with deep knowledge of legal precedence. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvan­ia in 1967 with a degree in political science and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticu­t in 1970.

David was predecease­d by his father Jerold Wallman and his mother Bernice Roth, and by his grandparen­ts, Samuel and Hannah Wallman, who immigrated to the United States in the 1890s. He is survived by four brothers, Jonathan, Samuel, Nathaniel, and Joshua, two sisters, Sarah and Mary, two sons Jeffrey and Jeremy, and five grandchild­ren Elias, Marina, Mitchell, Amelia and Jacob.

David was passionate about architectu­re, political history, literature and the arts, with a particular delight with the culture of Italy. His sharp mind, intellectu­al humility and warm self-effacing humor touched everyone that knew him. Family and friends plan to gather in the Spring to memorializ­e and celebrate David’s life.

Burial will be taking place at Beth El Cemetery located on Roxbury Rd. in Stamford, CT on March 12, 2023 at 11am.
