Dorothy Harvey, lifetime resident of Stamford, Connecticu­t, passed away on December 14th, 2023. She was eighty-five years old. She was fondly known as Dottie or Dot. She was the daughter of Florence and Michael Robushi. She attended Stamford High School, then later graduated from Saint Vincent’s School of Nursing in Bridgeport, Connecticu­t. She was employed at Saint Joseph’s Hospital as a registered nurse for the entirety of her career. She was a member of Saint Leo’s Parish in Stamford, Connecticu­t. Dorothy’s life revolved around her family. She was a care-taker in every aspect of her life and was a friend to all. She loved sharing in her children and grandchild­ren’s achievemen­ts with her husband and gardening in her yard. She loved sewing, knitting, and was an avid reader. Some of her fondest memories were family vacations to the beach in Ocean Park, Maine. She is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, John ( Jack) Edward Harvey Jr., daughter Lynn Ann Harvey Blank, her husband Seth of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, daughter Karen Ann Gallagher, her husband Scott of Stamford, Connecticu­t; son John-Kevin Harvey, his wife Nicole of Fairfield, Connecticu­t, as well as her grandchild­ren: Sarah, Joseph, Kelly (her husband, Dylan), Keri, Benjamin, Jacqueline, Elsa, and Teagan, and her sister, Margaret Hanson of Hannahan, South Carolina. She was predecease­d by her brother, Michael Robushi Jr. Friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, December 18th, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Gallagher’s Funeral Home. Private family memorial service to be celebrated on Tuesday, December 19th, 2023 at Saint Leo’s Parish. Private interment to immediatel­y follow at Saint John’s Cemetery in Darien, Connecticu­t.
