Sara Ann Patusky

-

Sara Ann Patusky of Tuscarora, Pennsylvania went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 24, 2024. She was surrounded and cared for by her beloved family, including her four children. She was 89 years old.

Sara was an intelligent, faithful, and empathetic person. Her love and support for the people in her life, that she gave without condition, left a beautiful and indelible imprint on all who knew her. She will be remembered as a woman who cherished time with her family, and who helped them become better people through her example, her works, and her unending belief in them. She was born on the 4th of July 1934 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania to the late William Joseph and Mary Agnes (Kumatis) Coleman. She married Stanley Patusky of Middleport on September 29, 1956 and shortly thereafter moved to Stamford to start a family.

Upon arriving, she became a devoted member of St. Maurice Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed working with everyone at the ARI sheltered workshop for almost 20 years while raising her four children. The family enjoyed Northrup Little League, Cove Island beach trips, and spending summers at her childhood home in Tuscarora, Pennsylvania – where she returned to in 1996 after retiring.

Sara is survived by her children, Robert and his wife Patricia, William, Marie Nicolosi and her husband Randy, and Christopher and his wife Kiernan, and sisters Rosalie McGorry and Suzanne Hamilton. She leaves 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
