STAMFORD NATIVE GRADUATES FROM WEST POINT
Cadet Dominic C. Colarossi, a Stamford native, graduated from the United States Military Academy in West Point, N.Y. on May 26.
Colarossi graduated from Trinity Catholic High School in 2014. At West Point, he studied business management. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Army within the field artillery branch. He will report to Texas for his first assignment.
Colarossi graduated in what was the 220th graduation and commissioning ceremony at the United States Military Academy. Ge. Joseph F. Dunford Jr., the 19th chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was the commencement speaker.
Most graduates are commissioned as second lieutenants after graduating the academy.
