STAMFORD FC 05 BOYS ELITE REPEAT AS STATE CUP CHAMPS

The Stamford Youth Soccer League’s (SYSL) Stamford FC 05 Boys Elite won the CT State Cup on Sunday, June 3 defeating CFC (West) Real 05, 4-2, in the State Cup finals held at Farmington Sports Arena.

This was the second consecutive year the team has won the State Cup. And the second straight year the team will be the Connecticut representative at the US Youth Soccer Region 1 Championships on June 29-July 3 in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Stamford’s head coach is Jason Segovia, of Quality Touch Soccer Academy. His staff consists of coaches Guzman Fernandez and Fabrizio Obregon along with team manager Christina Vander Kolk.
