STAMFORD FC 05 BOYS ELITE REPEAT AS STATE CUP CHAMPS

The Stamford Youth Soccer League’s (SYSL) Stamford FC 05 Boys Elite won the CT State Cup on Sunday, June 3 defeating CFC (West) Real 05, 4-2, in the State Cup finals held at Farmington Sports Arena.

This was the second consecutiv­e year the team has won the State Cup. And the second straight year the team will be the Connecticu­t representa­tive at the US Youth Soccer Region 1 Championsh­ips on June 29-July 3 in Fredericks­burg, Virginia.

Stamford’s head coach is Jason Segovia, of Quality Touch Soccer Academy. His staff consists of coaches Guzman Fernandez and Fabrizio Obregon along with team manager Christina Vander Kolk.
