Stamford Realtor has a passion for working with first-time buyers
Formerly an Uber driver and a homework room director at his local Boys & Girls Club, Brian Barran has found his passion as a Realtor.
The 24-year-old said being a Realtor was always in the back of his mind. That passion to be a Realtor came, in part, from watching his father, Ralph, who owned several buildings in his native Stamford.
“Every summer in high school, my job would be working with my dad. Even though we were cleaning and painting, I always wanted to be a Realtor,” he said.
That experience with his father coupled with another experience when his parents were on the market for a home cemented him wanting to get his license.
“A family friend took us out when their home was on the market,” Barran said. “I was looking at this young successful guy and when he told me his story, I realized it was similar to mine. We both went to the same college and had the same aspirations.”
In 2017, Barran became one of the integral players on the Auslander Kasindorf Group/ Keller Williams Property team.
Barran said people should call him when looking to buy or sell because he is “a genuine person and someone who looks out for my client’s best interests. I take pride in putting together deals others think are just too hard to tackle.”
That was the case recently, when Barran said worked with a stubborn client.
“Everyone on the team thought it would not work out, but I worked hard to serve my client,” he said.
Barran said he has learned a lot from both Todd Auslander and Jeannie Kasindorf, his supervisors on the team.
Auslander, Barran said, “has a knowledge of the process and how to put deals together.”
Kasindorf, he said, “helps with my work but also with life skills. She has helped me get organized and prioritize where I need to.”
Barran, who has lived in Stamford since he was 3 years old, covers all of lower Fairfield County with an emphasis on Stamford, Norwalk and Bridgeport.
Barran enjoys rock climbing, yoga and spending time with family.
