Lifelong love of architecture
Adrienne Schoetz has a strong knowledge of both the New York City and Connecticut housing markets and puts that knowledge of the market and inventory to work for her clients.
Schoetz worked as a Realtor in New York City for 10 plus years, including for seven years with Brown Harris Stevens, the parent company of Halstead Connecticut. She has worked in Halstead’s Wilton office for two years.
“It was an easy transition from the city because I did work for Halstead’s parent company,” said the Ohio native. “I always had an interest in architecture and interior design and have several cousins who work in those fields. I know the market and the inventory, and I can add value to my clients. If you are moving and you need a specialist, I have that experience and will take you very seriously.”
In addition to her real estate background, Schoetz also worked in marketing and did on-site sale work with developers in New York City.
A people person by nature, Schoetz said working for Halstead gives her a big advantage.
“The company gives us great support and has amazing marketing,” she said. “They provide whatever you need, including great imagery and videos. There is also that tri-state and international exposure that you just don’t get with other companies.”
Schoetz divides her time between Wilton and New Canaan.
Wilton, her home for two- and- a-half years, “has a rural vibe and yet there is a lot going on,” she said. “The schools are fabulous. There are tons of young families and there is always something happening in the town. There are new projects in the works downtown and there is a lot of room for growth.”
New Canaan, she said, “has a busier downtown and is more of a destination place. There are also some really beautiful homes and the schools are great.”
Schoetz is the mother of three children, ages, 4, 6 and 8. She enjoys playing tennis, skiing and being outdoors as well as spending time with her family and friends.
