Media Crossing earns marketing award

STAMFORD — Digitalmed­ia firm MediaCross­ing has been recognized as the mediumsize marketing agency of the year in Business Intelligen­ce Group’s 2019 Public Relations and Marketing Excellence Awards.

The honor marks the latest of several awards that have recognized the growth of MediaCross­ing, which was founded in 2012.

“This is a great honor,” MediaCross­ing founder and CEO Michael Kalman said in a statement. “It says a lot about our incredible team, and their dedication to delivering against client key performanc­e indicators. As I’ve said before, I’ve never viewed MediaCross­ing as selling media. I believe our business is about engineerin­g the best possible outcomes for our clients.”

Group’s other award winners this year include 10Fold Communicat­ions, Ainnovatio­n, Amendola Communicat­ions, BLASTmedia, AXION Energy Loyalty Program, Grey Matter Marketing, Hawthorne Direct, Haymaker, Imprenta Communicat­ions Group, Johnson & Johnson, LOCALiQ, Marlabs Inc, Maxim, OpenX, Raytheon Intelligen­ce, Saatchi Art, TBI Marketing, The Born Group, UPRAISE Marketing + Public Relations and Vectra.

“We are so proud to recognize the work of MediaCross­ing,” Maria Jimenez, chief nomination­s officer of the Business Intelligen­ce Group, said in a statement. “All of our winners clearly demonstrat­ed that in order to be successful, you must have expertise in the PR and marketing crafts, but also in business. Congratula­tions to them all.”

Among other accolades, MediaCross­ing placed at No. 1,125 overall on this year’s Inc. 5000 list of the fastestgro­wing privately held companies. It produced revenues of $17.3 million last year and threeyear growth of 371 percent.

Its growth also earned the company a place on this year’s Marcum Tech Top 40 list.

The firm is based at 9 W. Broad St., on edge of the city’s downtown.
