DeChambeau returning to play at the Travelers
Five-time PGA Tour winner Bryson DeChambeau is returning to play in the Travelers Championship in June, the tournament announced Wednesday morning.
DeChambeau, the world’s 14th-ranked player, is coming off a runner-up finish at the WGC-Mexico Championship this past weekend. He already has four top-10 finishes this season.
DeChambeau will be playing the Travelers Championship for the fifth time. He has two top-10 finishes each of the last two years, his best a tie for eighth place.
In 2018, DeChambeau won the first teo legs of the FedExCup playoffs. He is currently 24th in the FedExCup standings.
DeChambeau joins world No. 1 Rory McIlroy, No. 4 Justin Thomas, No. 7 Patrick Cantlay and three-time champion Bubba Watson in the field. The tournament will be held June 25—28 at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell. For tickets or for more information, visit travelerschampiopnship.com.
