Rep. Miller lifts community

-

When it comes to community and advocacy, these two powerful words are quickly attributed to the work being done by state Rep. Patricia Billie Miller on behalf of Stamford residents.

Though Patricia Miller is the state representative for Stamford’s 145th Assembly district, her advocacy and ground support for her Stamford community have no geographic boundaries. She speaks up loudly and doesn’t negotiate back door deals that will harm the Stamford community. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Patricia Miller stood up for health care employees who worked in nursing homes without adequate PPEs. She marched along with many nurses and frontline workers, demanding that their concerns are not extinguished but rather addressed. Her advocacy led to local nursing homes getting PPE.

She was instrumental in the passing of legislation that assists with reducing the achievement gap. As a member of the education committee, Patricia Miller keeps the achievement gap issue at the forefront. She is relentless in ensuring Stamford gets its share of adequate support and funding. With Patricia Miller, we feel safe because she will always safeguard our democracy while fighting health inequities, lack of access to affordable housing, and racial injustices. Without question, we know where Patricia Miller stands; Patricia Miller stands for an equitable Stamford.

A vote for Patricia Bille Miller is not a wasted vote, it is a long-term investment into a better and more equitable Stamford.
