Police looking to ID laundromat vandal
STAMFORD — City police are searching for a man who vandalized property inside of a local laundromat.
Sgt. Sean Scanlan said the man attempted to break into vending machinesat the Laundromundo laundromat, 43 Selleck St., Tuesday.
Scanlan said video shows the man entering the laundromat around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday and apparently trying to break into the machines, “damaging them extensively” in the process.
The man did more $2,000 damage, Scanlan said.
