UConn announces sites for home games
We’ve known when UConn’s home games would be played for a couple of weeks. Now, we know where they’ll be played.
The school released the sites of the Huskies’ 16 home games this season on Friday. UConn will play eight games at Gampel Pavilion and eight at the XL Center in Hartford. Last season, due to the pandemic, all of the Huskies’ home game were played on-campus at Gampel.
UConn’s regular-season opener on Nov. 9 against Central Connecticut State will be played at Gampel. The Huskies’ Big East opener against Providence on Dec. 18 will be at XL Center, as will their Feb. 22 showdown with Big East favorite Villanova. UConn’s regular-season finale (and Senior Day) on March 5 against DePaul will at Gampel.
