Beach Boys plan Bahamas fan cruise with the Monkees, Temptation­s

All aboard for the Beach Boys’ Good Vibrations cruise.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame act, known for such iconic hits as “Surfer Girl,” “I Get Around,” “Help Me, Rhonda,” “Barbara Ann,” “California Girls” and (of course) “Good Vibrations,” has announced plans to set sail with fans and some other marquee bands in March.

Other acts set for this “Good Vibrations”-themed cruise include the Monkees, The Temptation­s and Yacht Rock Revue. Comedian Joe Piscopo is also set to appear.

The cruise sails March 25-28 from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas.

“I can’t wait to celebrate 60 years of The Beach Boys’ music on The Good Vibrations Cruise, setting sail this March,” says Mike Love of the Beach Boys.

The cruise capacity is 2,500 fans, who “will be able to enjoy daily artist-hosted activities and evening performanc­es while traveling aboard the amenity-packed Norwegian Pearl ship, “according to a news release.

Each cruiser will get to take a photograph with the Beach Boys as well get an autographe­d commemorat­ive gift. Onboard activities will include a live Q&A session with members of the Beach Boys and photo opportunit­ies with some of the artists.

Besides the musical activities, cruisers can enjoy a port day in Nassau.
