Dorothy (Mrus) Manforte of Jupiter, Florida, passed away quietly in her sleep on January 5th, 2022 at her home. She was 93.

Dorothy was born on April 15th, 1928, in Stamford, Connecticu­t to John and Amelia Mrus. They settled in a home on Greenwich Avenue where Dorothy was raised with her brother, George and sister Fran. Dorothy was a graduate of Stamford High School.

Dorothy met her husband, Anthony Manforte, on the train to New York City. The two fell in love, and both earned their Bachelors degrees in accounting from Pace University. Once married, they settled in nearby New Canaan, CT where they raised their three children Robert, Thomas and Jane. She was predecease­d by her husband Tony and son Robert. She is survived by her daughter Jane Worley of Danville California, son Tom Manforte of Palm Beach Gardens Florida and two grandchild­ren, Thomas Worley and Christophe­r Worley both from California. She was an avid baker and hostess, a lover of bridge and golf.

With much of her family and friends scattered allover the globe and with the current Covid crisis, the family has decided not to have a service for her. A website has been created to honor her.
