Grace passed away on March 12, 2023 at age 80 surrounded in her final days by loving family. She was born October 21, 1942 in Coatbridge, Scotland to George and Elizabeth Moore and immigrated to Stamford, CT in 1960 where she met Gerard Linn whom had recently emigrated from Glasgow, Scotland. They were married at St. Johns RC church in Stamford in November 1962. They raised 3 children together and were very active in the Stamford community including the Catholic church, youth sports and scouts, arts, charity and kept close to their Scottish heritage with many relatives and friends who emigrated to Fairfield County.

Grace was fortunate to meet and marry Ed Linden of North Stamford in 2010 and spent much of their time together traveling to Cape Cod and visiting her grandchild­ren in Florida.

Known as “Aunt Grace” to not only her 36 nieces and nephews but dozens of her Scottish friends’ children who will all miss her greatly.

Grace was predecease­d by her parents George and Elizabeth Moore, sisters Edith Pyott, Moira Anderson, brothers George Moore Jr, William Moore all of Coatbridge, Scotland and James Moore of Nottingham, England as well as her first husband Gerard Linn. Grace is survived by her husband Edwin Linden, sister Elsie Shay of Brookfield, CT, sons Stephen and wife Laura of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Graham and wife Kim of Pound Ridge, NY, daughter Sandra and husband Mark Calabrese of Stamford, CT as well as grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Grace will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 16th at Church of the Holy Spirit, 403 Scofieldto­wn Road, Stamford, CT, followed by burial at Queen of Peace Cemetery, 133-135 Rock Rimmon Road, Stamford, CT.

Donations in honor of Grace Linden may be made to Church of the Holy Spirit.
