All politics are local. I’m a mother of three and hope my fellow Tarrant County voters remember this when they vote for judge of the 323rd District Court. This is a child welfare/juvenile court and is a countywide office.

There is only one qual- ified candidate. James Teel has 33 years of experience and is dedicated to working hard for local children and families.

I’ve been shocked by the other candidate’s blatant disregard for child-welfare issues. His “Machine Guns for Liberty” fundraiser has nothing to do with child welfare, and his inexperience in this area of law is alarming.

Why is he running for this office? What do guns have to do with it? Tarrant County children deserve a qualified judge.

Please do your research. The record speaks for itself. – Sharon Simpson, Benbrook
