AFTER Kanye West’s latest series of rants — he was booed for an impromptu political speech on Saturday Night Live and tweeted the following day that the 13th amendment abolishing slavery should be repealed — things came to a head with his wife Kim Kardashian. “She’s put up with his rants, but this SNL stunt was the last straw,” spills an insider, adding that Kim was already reeling from Kanye’s announcement at an open mic event ththatt hhe was moving back to Chicago. “She has no intention of uprooting the kids from their L.A. home and family,” dishes our mole. “Once again, he’s making grand statements without consulting her.” But actually, adds the source, Kim thinks time apart is just what they need — indefinitely: “She wants peace and quiet.
