Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell’s Epic Fight! Is it finally curtains for one of Hollywood’s longestrunning romances?

SO much for happy endings. Sources say that after 35 years, the partnership between famously unmarried pair Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell has finally unraveled. An insider claims that after a dramatic blowout between Goldie, 72, and Kurt, 67, the Private Benjamin star dramatically told her live-in lover that she’d fallen out of love after more than three decades together. “There are whispers that things between them came to a head and Goldie left after their worst fight yet,” says the insider, who adds, “She said some things she didn’t mean and regretted it later.” The source adds that, contrary to their loved-up, couple-goals persona, Kurt and Goldie “have been living separate lives for some time now — and while they’ve always enjoyed their independence, their arrangement may have finally taken its toll.”

SEPARATE WAYS Kurt and Goldie’s relationship is practically iconic, not only for its longevity but for how sympatico they’ve always appeared to be. After meeting on the set of 1968’s The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band, fate brought them back together 15 years later as costars in Swing Shift. Goldie, who was divorced with two little kids by the time they remet, was taken by Kurt’s ease as a stepdad, gushing, “He was amazing… such a natural.” He went on to raise her children, Oliver Hudson, 42, and Kate Hudson, 39 — who still call him “Pa.” Though the duo never married, they had son Wyatt, 32, and are often seen beaming on red carpets and vacations with their huge blended family — including six grandkids! But behind closed doors, says the confidant, Kurt and Goldie have been dealing with residual tension following rumors of past cheating — and the hurt feelings have finally bubbled over. “They’ve had huge rows over his affairs,” claims a source, noting that when Goldie took off for India in 2004, she reportedly struck up a fling with cricket player turned politician Imran Khan. Though the bubbly blonde has implied that she and Kurt write their own rules when it comes to monogamy — “[there’s] an elasticity to the

relationship,” she’s insisted — they’ve fallen prey to jealous rages, and even temporarily split in 2015. “Kurt walked out and was living in Malibu,” says a source, “Goldie stayed in Pacific Palisades.” The source suggests they’ve both been adamant about feeling free and untethered, but “their arrangement doesn’t seem to be working anymore.” Explains the source, “They don’t want the constraints that come with being married, but at the same time, if one of them has a wandering eye, the other will flip out over it.” And though their indiscretions are firmly in the past, Kurt and Goldie are still struggling to move past their mutual hurt feelings. “They’ve tried to put everything behind them, but things haven’t been the same since [Goldie’s affair].” Though tension is still swirling following their fight, a source insists that Goldie and Kurt — who just welcomed new granddaughter Rani, Kate’s baby with beau Danny Fujikawa, to the family — have the potential to turn the ship around. “They’ve dealt with a lot over the past few decades but they’ve always managed to get back on track, and the hope is that they can do it again,” says the source. “No one wants to see them say goodbye to each other for good.”
