CHER’S HAVEN FOR THE HOMELESS

Despite the drama of the California wildfires, Cher is Strong Enough to open her heart — and 13,000-square-foot home — to victims of the blaze. “She’s thankful her house was spared by the fire — it came within feet of her gates — but she also feels incredibly guilty,” reveals an insider. “She wants to help her neighbors who lost their homes and have nothing. She has lots of room at her mansion and she’s invited people to come stay for as long as they like while they get themselves sorted!” A year ago, Cher, 72, also offered to provide her mansion as a sanctuary to “Dreamers” — young undocumented immigrants who arrived in this country as small children and now face deportation. “That’s why people love her,” says the insider. “She’s caring and thoughtful and down-to-earth.”
