JENNIFER Aniston has finally snapped! Friends are spilling that nearly a year out from her and Justin Theroux’s split, the Dumplin’ star has finally given her ex-hubby a piece of her mind. After listening to him wheeze and whine about missing NewYork throughout their two-year marriage, insiders say, Jen, 49, has been growing increasingly outraged that Justin, 47, can’t seem to stay off her L.A. turf! “Everyone knows Justin never wanted to live in California while he was with Jen because he’s such a NewYorker at heart,” explains a well-placed informant. “It was one of the biggest sticking points in their marriage. But now he can’t get enough of L.A.!” On Dec. 4, Justin was in Hollywood shooting Jimmy Kimmel Live! — just one day before Jen appeared on the show. Sources say the Maniac star made it a point to hang out with Jen’s BFF Courteney Cox, and is rumored to have romanced her much younger friends like Selena Gomez and Emma Stone. “Jen has been as respectful as possible since their split, while he’s been out romping with twentysomething actresses,” sniffs the source. “It’s not like Justin doesn’t have friends of his own. Now he’s also going to Jen’s favorite L.A. spots. It’s like he’s doing it all hoping to run into Jen!”
ALL IN A DAY’S LURK Insiders say the tipping point came on Dec. 6 when Jen was holiday party–hopping and realized her ex was following her from fete to fete. “Apparently, Jen confronted Justin,” tittered Star’s tipster. (The actress’ rep denies our story.) “She’d discovered he was staying at a hotel just a few doors down from her, and in her mind, that was proof he was trying to get under her skin.” Beverly Hills psychotherapist Dr. Jenn Mann, author of The Relationship Fix, weighed in. “It’s got to be very painful for Jennifer that her husband was not committed enough to spend time with her in the city she wanted to be in, but is choosing to do so now that they’re not married,” Dr. Mann tells Star. “After a divorce, people often go through the same stages they would with a death: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. This could bring up a lot of anger for her.” In Jen’s furious confrontation with Justin, she dealt the final blow by accusing him of using her status to stay in the limelight. “It’s not lost on Jen that Justin’s star power increased after they got together,” added the pal. “But she refuses to let him ride her coattails one minute longer. She’s ready to move on.”
