Star has the details on her top secret nuptials.

MILEY Cyrus is a missus! The wild-child singer has officially settled down with Liam Hemsworth after a top- secret ceremony on Dec. 23 that the pair seemed to throw together at the last minute. But between the party-store decor and a bridal banquet of takeout fried chicken, friends and fans are wondering if this was a shotgun wedding! “Miley has always emphasized that she won’t get married until she’s either planning to have a family or she’s pregnant,” says a stunned backup dancer who frequently tours with the Hannah Montana alum. “None of us were even aware she was getting married, and we’re her closest friends! I heard talk about a wedding about a month ago, but she said it would be closer to the spring or summer. So, rumors in our friend circle are that Miley may be prego! If she’s not, and that was her wedding, she has a lot of explaining to do.” Indeed, the nuptials seem to have come as a surprise even to her family. Her parents, Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus, turned up in jeans and flannels, and her sister Noah also seemed caught off-guard, emotional in a series of weepy Instagram posts. Liam’s Aussie crew was also casual, with his brothers Chris and Luke donning funky Hawaiian shirts and taking shots together. But Miley, 26, and Liam, 28, who met filming The Last Song in 2009, looked every inch the proper couple: The newly minted Mrs. Hemsworth dazzled in a silky slip gown, while Liam wore a festive boutonniere and black suit (but did skip the formal loafers in favor of crisp white sneakers) and cut into a weed-oil-infused cake as pink balloons spelling out “MR & MRS” bobbed in the background. “Miley and Liam are two peas in a pod,” cooed another close friend privy to the details of the secret ceremony, which took place at a private rental property in Tennessee. “They carefully planned this beautiful event to avoid any media presence interfering, and the only guests were very close family.”
